06.27.09 // Graduating Tomorow

Wow...I haven't been here in a month and my high school graduation is tomorrow. It's really sad, but it hasn't all hit me yet that this is the end of a major chapter in my life and I might not see a lot of my friends ever again [of course I'll keep in contact with them on facebook, but it's not the same...this is where people move on >.<]. It's very depressing.

Anyways, since...May or what not, I've finished school, had my high school prom, given my best friend a surprise going away party [because she's leaving me for California >.<], gone to college orientation, had the time of my life in Washington DC with some friends, and been out of the house for basically a week, haha.

Chronologically...

05.28.09 // Almost Done

School's almost over! What am I to do? Barely ten days of classes left; I gotta start taking more photos during class. Anyways, despite AP exams being over, I've got quite a bit of work left. The worse is finally over [English Independent reading paper which everybody basically procrastinated until the day before], but there are still a bunch of sill English assignments [film paper...a war collage...gah], Environmental Science Assignments [about that paper...I better start that; it's due next week lol], and there's an Economics final....just great. Mandarin final next week too...oh well. Haha.

In other news, this past weekend was quite fun. It was "official" senior cut day at my school on Friday and my friends and I went out to Huntington. It was pretty fun. We found this awesome park and the harbor was nice. We also found a cute chocolate shop. That area is so happy, all they have are tons of sushi restaurants, spas, and ice cream shops. It's lovely ^_^ I also watched Star Trek on Friday; 'twas very good.

Saturday was an adventure; I biked fifteen miles to the beach and another fifteen back; we crossed highways and all, it was intense. It was pretty tiring, but it was fun and I'm glad I was able to do it ^_^

Sunday I went to the Museum of Natural History to go visit the Climate Change exhibit for an Environmental Science project. It was pretty good, but the exhibit took me 3 hours to finish all the assignment questions @_@ Long much. All in all it was good.

On Monday, Suzanne, Carlos, and Kim C. came over my house to work on our Calculus project; it went pretty well. Eric and Erin also came over, their parents too, and my parents held a mini BBQ. Shrimp-shish-ka-bobs are good :D Anyway, this week is almost done [thank goodness]. I've been somewhat ill [ugh cough and cold and perpetual tiredness] but I think I'm getting better. Next week is prom. Intense!
